A library assessment dashboard is a curated set of charts and graphs that highlight the work of the library. Dashboards can be used for internal assessment and to demonstrate the library’s value to external audiences. In this presentation, we discuss various use cases and approaches for dashboards. The centerpiece of the presentation is a walk through the process for creating dashboards using SpringShare’s LibInsight tool and Tableau. We close with a discussion of how to present the data visualizations to different stakeholder groups such as administrators and the public.
